Peace on earth

Dear friends, I sorta feel like the Apostle Paul, who said, "Not as though I have already attained, but I press toward the mark of the high calling...". During this Advent, Christmas, and New Year season, when family and friends are near, let's make it our task to build bridges, knock down walls, mend fences and re-establish lines of good communication. I've been reading the Apochrypha for devotions of late and found this verse in Sirach 25. My whole being takes pleasure in three things, and these are beautiful to the Lord and to human beings: harmony among brothers and sisters, friendship among neighbors, and a wife and husband who adapt to each other. (Sirach 25:1 CEB) I like that. I believe this sums up what I was trying to say. As Tiny Tim says, "God bless us everyone." Ps. This will be my last post until after the New Year. So, have a glorious Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
